PROXY SERVERS AND ANONYMOUS SURFING

Proxy Servers are used on both public and private networks.

On the internet, Proxy Servers are usually used to surf anonymously, hiding the user's IP in order to provide greater security when browsing different sites. Otherwise, malicious sites may compromise user's personal information for marketing or other purposes.

At a corporate level, proxies are mainly used to filter incoming information to protect the company's private network. Employees can also be limited in the websites that they can browse through the company's Proxy Server configuration.

All information related to proxies and their different applications are developed in this section.
